Getting started

Who provides care?

Medical services are provided by LocumTele, a professional medical entity that employs and oversees the licensed nurse practitioners and physician assistants who review AmboVital assessments and write prescriptions, working with a supervising physician. LocumTele is responsible for clinical care, provider licensure and oversight, patient records, clinical policies, and telehealth requirements in each state where it operates. AmboVital LLC provides the website, the account experience, and non-clinical support, and cannot influence a clinical outcome.

Where are prescriptions filled?

Prescriptions are filled by licensed U.S. pharmacy partners and shipped directly to you.

Is care available in my state?

Care is currently available in 42 licensed states. Check the state availability page for details.

What happens after intake?

A licensed provider reviews your information and determines whether treatment may be appropriate.

Do I need to visit a clinic?

No. Everything happens online. You complete a private health intake, a licensed provider reviews it, and if treatment is appropriate your prescription ships to your door.

Who reviews my intake?

An independent, U.S.-licensed provider (a nurse practitioner or physician assistant working with a supervising physician). You can meet our providers on the Our providers page.

How much does care cost?

Each product has one monthly price that includes your medication, provider review, ongoing messaging with your care team, and shipping. You're billed monthly only after a licensed provider approves treatment. Your plan renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel any time before your next refill.

Your care

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?

No. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies for an individual patient and are not approved or evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Your provider will explain the options that may be appropriate for you.

Are results guaranteed?

No. Individual results vary and no treatment is guaranteed. Your provider will set expectations based on your health history and goals.

Are there side effects?

Every prescription treatment can have side effects. Your provider reviews them with you before anything is prescribed. Read our Important Safety Information for details.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes. Contact support@ambovital.com and our team will help. Our Refund & Shipping policy explains how changes and cancellations work.

Orders & privacy

Can I receive a refund?

No charge unless a licensed provider approves treatment. If you're not approved, you're not charged and nothing ships.

How is my order shipped?

Prescriptions are filled by licensed U.S. pharmacy partners and shipped in discreet packaging directly to you.

Is my health information private?

Yes. Your information is collected through a secure platform and handled as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices and Consumer Health Data policy.
